Application Checklist
Here is all the information you need together with the relevant forms to print off to enable you to apply for a Skipton Commercial Mortgage.
Helpful hints on applying for your mortgage
To help us speed your application along as fast as possible, please bear in mind the following:
- Use ink or ball point pen to fill in the forms.
- Write in block capitals and complete or tick all the appropriate white boxes on the form.
- Remember to complete the Direct Debit instruction.
- If you are applying in joint names, details of all applicants must be provided and all of you must sign the form.
- Similarly, all directors of company applicants should enter personal details and sign the form.
Documentation required (for LIBOR Linked and Fixed Rate)
- Application form
- Asset & Liability Statement (each app/dir)
- Three years audited/certified accounts
- Six months business bank statements
- Three months personal bank statements (each app/dir)
- Last annual loan statements for all mortgages held (including residential)
- CV
- Memorandum & Articles of Association†
- Certificate of Incorporation†
†Limited Company and LLPs only
Documentation required (for Buy-to-Lets)
- A fully completed commercial application form and Asset & Liability statement
- Appropriate application fee§ and valuation fee (see submission section)
- Three months personal bank statements to date
- Existing lender’s statements
- Evidence of deposit
- Three months payslips and P60 or three years accounts and six months business bank statements if self employed or company director
- Details of rental income and whether actual or estimated
§The application fee may be debited to the mortgage account at completion if preferred.
Please don't forget
- To sign the application form in the correct places (i.e. Declaration Section the Reference Authority slips and the Direct Debit mandate).
- To make sure that all questions on the application form are answered.
- To indicate which Skipton Commercial mortgage product you require.
- Ensure proof of identity of all applicants is enclosed.
